It's on like Donkey Kong.

TexasFan360: Hey there, I'm a Nepalese-American living in Austin. I always thought government and politics were extremely boring and a waste of time. But then, the 2012 elections came along. From the debates to the caucus and the primaries, it caught my interest. It's 2016 now, and i've somewhat turned into a political junkie. According to the Political Ideology Quiz i'm a next generation left (along with 12% of the population). I try to be politically active by doing my part. I vote in general and midterm elections and let my voice be heard whenever it needs to be. However, even though I'm a Liberal Democrat, i always make a point to listen to the other side as well. I sometimes find myself tuning into Fox News or conservative radio to see if they have any good points on big issues. Why am i taking this class? I want to get a bigger picture of what motivates us politically, why our country has become so divided and where we can go from here. It also happens to be a requirement for my degree. Civic test: 8/10 Current events: 12/12
